Elizabeth Bertch, M.F.A., Reading and Writing Specialist

She provides in-class presentations on writing, develops programs to help students write better, and has one-on-one tutoring sessions with students!

Reading and Writing Support

The Reading/Writing Support Specialist can help you improve your writing skills at any point in the writing process – from topic ideas to final APA formatting.  The goal is not to correct you, but rather to help you gain skills and access to resources to gain the knowledge you need to be a confident writer.

Types of Feedback

  • In-person meeting (ACE Office 7S11)
  • Comments directly on your Microsoft Word document via email
  • Skype voice session or phone conference

Office hours  vary from term to term based on scheduling for writing-intensive courses. Email Elizabeth for this term’s office hours or to make an appointment.
